The motto of the mobility year 2024 is "Einbeck on the move!". Everything revolves around the movement on wheels, either in the traditional way without propulsion or in modern motorized vehicles.

Mobility found its connection to our city very early on. It all started with August Stukenbrok, who founded his company August Stukenbrok Einbeck (ASTE) in Einbeck in 1888. Stukenbrok manufactured bicycles in his company and shipped them throughout Germany. He later expanded his range and bought and sold a wide variety of products. The result was Germany's first mail order company! You can still marvel at his old company headquarters on Teichenweg today, as it is now home to the new town hall and the city council offices. You can find out more about August Stukenbrok and the history of his mail-order company at the StadtMuseum Einbeck.

The PS.SPEICHER opened its doors in 2014. It started with the main exhibition. Here, over 400 vehicles on two, three and four wheels are on display on an exhibition area of around 5,000 m². It takes you on a 200-year journey through the history of mobility and guides you through all eras and development phases.
Over the last few years, four collections have been added to the main exhibition! With a total exhibition area of 22,000m², the PS.SPEICHER and its collections now house around 2,500 vehicles. The newest member of the PS.SPEICHER family is the treasure chamber. Since September 2023, a juxtaposition of vintage dream cars from the early 20th century and supercars from the modern era can be viewed in this hall.

2024 will not only celebrate the Year of Mobility in Einbeck, but also the tenth anniversary of Europe's largest classic car collection, the PS.SPEICHER. So look forward to lots of great events!

The PS.WALL is probably the only almost historically steeped species spot in Einbeck. In 2012, when the friends of the old Einbeck House of Youth looked forward to a somewhat uncertain future with regard to their future home, the Young Artists in Einbeck realized their first large graffiti wall in Einbeck. Angelo Artmond pulled the cans over the wall. You can discover the spot directly from the parking lot of the PS.SPEICHER.

Stand in front of the ArtSpot and take a souvenir photo. Post it on Instagram, add the hashtags #einbeckbewegt, #10jahrepsspeicher, and link us to @tourismus_einbeck.
