Arrival & Parking

The Stadtwald / Hube car park is located on the upper part of the Hubeweg north of Einbeck.

By Car:
From Einbeck city center: Drive past the Ostertor gate onto Hubeweg, then up over the hill. Hubeweg begins at the railway crossing at Ostertor gate. After a left turn, the path continues as a linden avenue up to the Hube River. The signposted Stadtwald/Hube hiking car park is located next to the trail.

By train:
From the train station or city center: You can first walk toward Ostertor/Altstadt, then switch to Hubeweg and follow it uphill to the Stadtwald/Hube parking lot. (The exact hiking routes and footpaths are partly steep and lead through wooded areas.)
The parking lot is a signposted hiking parking lot, so there are signposts once you are on the Hubeweg.
