By Car:
Einbeck is easily accessible via the B3. Follow the B3 to the L487/L572 in Einbeck, take the exit toward Einbeck-Ost/Salzderhelden/Immensen, and turn left from Hanover, or right from Göttingen and follow the L487. From here, the truck and bus collection point is only a 3-minute drive (about 1,5 km). At the town entrance, turn right onto Barumstraße, continue straight ahead at the intersection. The entrance is on the left after 60 meters.
By public transport:
Visitors can arrive by regional train from Göttingen or Hanover. You may need to change trains at Einbeck-Salzderhelden station and get off at Einbeck-Otto-Hahn-Straße station. Of course, you can also take the train from Einbeck-Mitte station for one stop from the city center. The platform is just a few meters from the entrance to the collection. After exiting the platform, keep left.
By bus:
The central bus station is located opposite Einbeck-Mitte station at Thiaisplatz. From here, take lines 230, 235, and 275 to the Am Kälbertalsgraben stop. Then follow Grimsehlstraße for 150 meters, cross at the intersection, and turn left onto Otto-Hahn-Straße. The entrance is on the left after 60 meters.
On foot / by bike:
The collection is a 30-minute walk (2,2 km) from the historic market square. It's a 10-minute bike ride. Cross the market square toward Möncheplatz, walk along the Lange Brücke (Long Bridge), turn right at the Thiele bakery, then cross the street toward the pharmacy/police station at the Blaudruck (blue printing), or follow the street and continue down Grimsehlstraße for 1,5 km toward the town exit. Turn left onto Otto-Hahn-Straße. The entrance is 60 meters on the left.
