The Mühlenwall is a Remains of the medieval city fortifications Einbeck and together with the other ramparts forms a green ring around Einbeck's city centerThe Mühlenwall is located between the Krähengraben and the Bürgermeisterwall.
At Mühlenwall is the Memorial stone for the destruction of the synagogue, a Memorial for Jewish citizens (November 9, 1938).

Arrival & Parking

The Mühlenwall is located between Benser Straße and the Altendorfer Tor or Altendorfer Straße in Einbeck. It's a 10-minute walk (600-900 m) from the market square.

By Car:
From the B3 exit (signs for Einbeck/Stadtmitte/Moringen/Odagsen), it's a 2-minute (2 km) drive to Mühlenwall. Several suitable parking spaces are available in the city center, from which you can walk to Mühlenwall (e.g., Neustädter Kirchplatz).

By public transport:
Einbeck is connected to the rail network via the Einbeck-Mitte train station. From the station, Mühlenwall can be reached on foot in about 13 minutes via Beverstraße and the Altendorfer Tor towards Altendorfer Straße.
