The Long Wall is an green street, which offers direct access to the Tiedexer Gate.

Arrival & Parking

The Lange Wall begins in the north of the city, north of the Minster Church of St. Alexandri, and extends in an arc to the west of the city. To the west, the Lange Wall borders the Bäckerwall.

On foot:
Lange Wall is a 12-minute walk from Einbeck-Mitte train station. The walk is a one-kilometer walk:
From the train station, first follow Ball-Ricco-Straße toward the New Town Hall until you reach the Ostertor/Teichenweg intersection. Cross this street and continue straight onto Hubeweg. After a few meters, Heinrich-Keim-Weg is on the left, behind the tracks and to the left of the Junge Linde villa. Turn into this street and follow it to the end, and you'll reach Langen Wall.

By car:
By car you can reach the Langen Wall either via Rabbethgestraße or via the Tiedexer Tor.
If you want to park for free and are willing to take a short 10-minute walk, during which you can see the Abbey Garden, the parking lot in Köppenweg at the New Town Hall is ideal.
There is also a parking lane directly on Langen Wall where visitors can park for free if they find a free space. There is also a small free parking lot directly on Langen Wall at the intersection with Seminarstraße.
Those who would like to park near the Langen Wall can use the public, paid parking spaces at Stiftplatz.
