The Klosterhof Brunshausen, owned by the Löning family, with a café, shop and guest house, is attached to the Brunshausen Monastery.

Im year 1898 the Brunshausen Monastery as State domain and finally went into the Owned by Erika & Bernhard Löning They first cultivated the monastery farm with traditional agriculture, which, however, did not bring the desired success due to the size of the farm.

To secure the future of the monastery courtyard, a new concept. Today, the Klosterhof Brunshausen with its Sculptures in the garden as well as the Café in the countryside  and the guesthouse to relax a very special atmosphere and space to browse and discover in the House & Farm Shop.

Im Café in the Brunshausen Monastery Courtyard Guests can enjoy coffee and tea specialties, as well as cakes and pastries. Public events such as exhibitions, concerts, and lectures with artists from the region or local partners from across Germany take place there.

Arrival & Parking

If you'd like to visit the Brunshausen Monastery from Einbeck, the easiest way to get there is by car. From Einbeck, driving along the L 87, B 64, or B 445, you'll reach Brunshausen in about 30 minutes (approximately 20-24 km depending on the route).
Visitors who wish to travel by train from Einbeck can travel from Einbeck-Mitte station, changing at Einbeck-Salzderhelden station, to Kreiensen station. From Kreiensen station, take the regional train towards Bad Harzburg, which stops at Bad Gandersheim station. From Bad Gandersheim, you can continue on to the Klosterhof via regional train and bus services.

Those traveling from further afield can reach Bad Gandersheim from Hanover or Göttingen via the A7 motorway, taking the Echte or Seesen exit. From these exits, it's a further 20 minutes to Bad Gandersheim.

On the private grounds of the Klosterhof Brunshausen there are private parking spaces for visitors to the café in the monastery courtyard as well as the house and farm shop.
