From the A7 Northeim Nord exit, continue on the B3 towards Einbeck, passing the towns of Edesheim and Hohnstedt until you reach Salzderhelden, continuing straight ahead on the B3. In Salzderhelden, take the exit for Einbeck-Salzderhelden train station and continue along Am Stauwerk and Zollstraße. This will take you to Einbecker Straße. The castle complex is on the right.

From Altendorfer Tor in Einbeck, head east out of town onto the L487. After about one kilometer, after the B3 exit toward Alfeld, turn left toward Salzderhelden. Continue on Einbecker Straße. After about 900 meters, you'll see Burgplatz on your left. A steep driveway leads up to the graveled Burgplatz. You can park your car there for a visit to the castle.
