Einbecker Brewery

Short facts

  • Einbeck

The home of true bock beer is Einbeck ...

... and it is brewed in the Einbecker brewery further to other beer specialities until today.

Already in the 14th century bock beer from Einbeck was considered something really special. As Ainpökisch beer it became a highly-demanded speciality and via the Hanseatic League it captured all of Europe. Even Martin Luther praised it at the Worms Reichstag: “The best drink known to man is Einbecker beer.”

And although over time the name Ainpock was changed to “bock beer” – Einbeck still is and will be the home of the bock beer. Therefore, the claim to be brewing something really special has been maintained in Einbeck to the present day.

Einbecker bock beer – for everyone who loves the real thing.
