Im Printers' Quarter There is a historic printing workshop - the Printer Gang.
Im Printer Quarter At Möncheplatz, a piece of Einbeck's past printing history is brought to life. At that time, Einbeck's first daily newspaper, the "Einbecker Tageblatt," was published and printed in this neighborhood. Historic printing presses can still be found today in the DruckerBande (printer's band) located there.

The printing culture that once existed in the house is to be brought back to the awareness of the people. Therefore, the "Printer Gang" in an open historical Printing workshop.

The name "DruckerBande" originated from the creative mind of print artist Barbara Brübach from Hann. Münden. The gang represents solidarity – from the 'tender gang' for young love or friendship to the gang of robbers, inviting you to flirt. Everyone should feel invited to be part of the Druckerbande.

The Printer Gang invites visitors of all ages to this end Get to know handicrafts and printing art and then learn how to use different printing techniques. Through active dyeing, for example, indigo-dyed white fabrics transform from green to blue.
