The memorial stone commemorates District forester Friedrich Domeier, who has made a special contribution to the forests surrounding Einbeck. Nestled in the natural surroundings, this place invites you to pause for a moment and consciously perceive the tranquility of the forest.
Here, you'll sense how closely nature and history are connected. Nestled between tall trees and soft forest floor, this inconspicuous stone tells of a life spent in service to the forest—and of how important the care and preservation of our natural environment was even then.
