Einbeck in the historic Weserbergland

As a member of the Historic Weserbergland quality label, Einbeck is one of the region's 16 historic towns. Known as a former Hanseatic city, it boasts an exceptionally well-preserved medieval townscape. With over 400 half-timbered houses—particularly along Tiedexer Straße, one of Germany's longest half-timbered streets—Einbeck is one of the most important half-timbered towns in southern Lower Saxony.

The PS.SPEICHER as a historical site

Since June 12, 2020, the PS.SPEICHER in Einbeck has officially been one of the eleven historic sites of the Historic Weser Uplands. This places it among the region's important cultural and historical landmarks, which together paint a multifaceted picture of history, architecture, and craftsmanship.
